Stoneyard Releases New 3 Part Specification for Thin Stone Veneer Installation with LATICRETE® Masonry Veneer Installation System (MVIS)

Massachusetts natural thin stone manufacturer Stoneyard, announces the release of a 3 Part Specification for architects and design professionals. This is the first architectural specification to address both New England thin stone veneer products and installation with the LATICRETE® Masonry Veneer Installation System, a globally proven construction solution for the building industry.

LITTLETON, MA, November 10, 2014 - Stoneyard, a natural New England thin stone manufacturer, is pleased to announce the release of a new 3 Part Specification which offers not only detailed product information for New England thin stone veneer, but also installation instructions using the globally trusted and warrantied system, LATICRETE® MVIS (Masonry Veneer Installation System).

“We take pride in crafting only the best New England native stones into our thin veneer line of 5 different shapes and 6 different colors. It only makes sense to recommend a guaranteed system of installation. Our customers want to be able to appreciate their fireplace, home siding, chimney, or outdoor kitchen for many years without issue. With a 25 year or 15 year material and labor warranty, LATICRETE® MVIS is the system that we recommend for both interior and exterior applications,” said David Croteau, VP of Sales at Stoneyard™.

A 3 Part Specification is a pre-formatted document that architects and designers use to insert relevant details into project plans. “We want to make it as pain free as possible for Architects to be able to spec not only our products, but the MVISsystem as well,” said Mr. Croteau. Stoneyard™ has been recommending the system for years and has now taken the step to include it in their 3-part specification. It is available for download at
