#936| A New Twist on a Ledgestone Fireplace

Boston Blend has long been thought of as colonial or rustic. This Ledgestone Boston Blend fireplace is anything but. The modern clean lines are brought to the next level with a unique "twist". A blend of Greenwich Gray (25%) and Boston Blend (75%) Ledgestone Building Veneer was used to create the perfect mix of colors.

This tall fireplace goes from floor to ceiling. The top section was turned 45 degrees for added architectural interest. The outside columns and foundation are also faced in the same blend of Ledgestone.  

The homeowners worked closely with the stone mason to choose the perfect blend of colors and shapes. The best way to decide on the correct blend of shapes, sizes, grout thickness, and stone color is to construct a mockup. Laying the stones out on a small area and adjusting the different variables is the best way to get that perfect blend.
